Lucas and Leigha met in 2020, their story beginning with Lucas’s best pick up line… a photo of his pick-up truck.

Lucas and Leigha both grew up in the Meaford/Owen sound area, Both attending St. Mary's High school. Although they attended the same high school they didn't connect until a few years later.
Soon after the truck photo Leigha was curious to know if their was more to the man then just the truck.... Sure enough their first date was in the works.

They took a trip to Hibou park, chatting the night away and listening to music from a portable speaker on the truck ride home… (mechanic problems). Their was most defiantly more to the man than just the truck. 4 years of love, laughs, furry friends (Maggie and Winnie) and figuring life out together flew by in a hurry.

On July 5th, 2024 Lucas came home early in a major rush with a strange amount of excitement for just a regular Friday night date... Leigha knew something had to be up as Lucas is ALWAYS running late. On their way to their movie date Lucas took a detour and they ended up at Hibou Park. Lucas proposed on the rocks out in the rain.

This leads them to their big day July 5th, 2025 exactly one year later. They will get to enjoy this day with everyone who has supported them along their journey.
